Another great stuff from the Gunners!

Arsenal have once again shown a classical display of football to defeat Portsmouth at Fratton Park, this time in absence of their skipper Cesc Fabregas.

Arsene Wenger's team won by the same margin as they did in the reverse fixture of this match, 4-1. Arsenal led 2-0 at the half time that included goals from Eduardo and Nasri. Ramsey made it 3-0 witha superb finish from a good 20-25 yards in the second half.

Portsmouth, who are struggling in this season never came back in the game before Nadir Belhadj scored in the 74th minute to gain some pride for his club. Song stepped upfront when Eduardo was replaced by Rosicky and scored with less than ten minutes left.

This result has brought Arsenal four points behind of league leaders Chelsea with a game in hand.

Fabregas stunned Villa as Gunners came close to top!

Arsenal's Spanish superstar Cesc Fabregas stunned Villa with a brace to give his team 3-0 win at home. Aston Villa have already defeated Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool in their games. This victory took Arsenal a bit much closer to the top spot. They are on third position trailed by 4 points from Chelsea with one gmae in hand.

Arsenal manager started without Cesc Fabregas. Fabregas came in the second half and scored his first goal with a free kick from a good distance. Afterwards in 81 minute Fabregas scored his second to finish a cross from Theo Walcott.

Later Fabregas was substituted with Ramsey. This change allowed Diaby to come upfront and finally he scored to finish the Villians.

This win has again raised a lot of hopes for the Gunners. Now they are four points behind the top position and they are having one game in hand.
